Il Tartufo opened its doors to business in 1997 and was
an immediate success. It invokes the cuisine of Tiramisu' Ristorante
the now legendary Roman Jewish landmark on 5th street in Philadelphia,
and chef owner Alberto Delbello's first culinary masterpiece. Its
cuisine originated in the old Roman Jewish ghetto in Trastevere
(Rome). Chef Delbello uses only the best quality ingredients
to prepare his food, from the imported extra virgin olive oil to
the San Daniele Prosciutto to the homemade mozzarella. In addition
to the fresh seafood, meats and poultry Il Tartufo promises to always
be a culinary experience. When you're there don't forget to ask your
server about our fresh homemade desserts! Salute!
