Andropogon Associates was formed in 1975 to pursue an ecological perspective in landscape architecture, planning, and design. Environmentally responsible design, which is grounded in a philosophy that respects and builds upon the natural and cultural character of a site, has always been at the core of our practice. Our services include regional planning, site analysis, master planning, stormwater management, landscape architecture, and site management. In addition, we offer experience and technical competence in a number of specialties such as ecological restoration and innovative stormwater management techniques that are fully integrated into site plans. Our work has been recognized with numerous local, state, and national design awards, including six Top Ten Green Project Awards from The American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment (AIA COTE), and the 2004 Landmark Award from the American Society of Landscape Architects for the Strategic Master Plan for the Morris Arboretum.
